By 2050, the number of Israeli citizens is expected to double. Israel will then be the most densely populated country in the Western world and one of the most densely populated worldwide. Through a speculative installation, which combines visual and sound, the far-reaching consequences of this threatening statistic are visualized across the timeline between now and 2050 in a number of different fields: housing, transportation, education, health, and environment. The findings point toward a severe crisis, which must be addressed by the State of Israel and its citizens in order to minimize the foreseen damages. Alongside the presentation of data, the project's goal is to raise awareness of a trend which is scarcely addressed in the public discourse, as well as to call for action in an aim to mitigate it, before it's too late.
