Integral motion

The project’s starting point was a practical research process in search of movement mechanisms, drawing inspiration from the world of paper folding. At the core of the research lies the act of folding, which creates an internal built-in movement. The goal was to identify the movements, characterize them and translate them into an existing mechanism. In Integral Motion the glasses are a case study that demonstrates the potential held in the developed technique. Its mechanism combines two aspects: the search for the best functional solution, and the search for the best aesthetic solution.
