Little Different Nostalgic

My work is about my childhood in the '90s and its effect on me. Today I own a digital vintage store called A "Little Different''. My childhood was in the shadow of my parents' divorce and the consequences, among them frequent moves and instability, characterized my childhood and youth. I created a project made from used items. These items changed their purpose and became fashionable items. The weight and the cuts tell my story. Each model relates to my different childhood memories. As a child whose parents divorced, the escape from reality was into the children's world of '90s television. It is a world of colorful and creative content, an element that characterizes my dress today. I often wear clothes that are a bit childish, and I tend to combine Disney characters with bold colors and old clothes. Materials: old bed linen, fabrics, cassettes, toys, dolls. Working techniques: casting, hand sewing, disassembly and assembly.
