Longings
Remnant of a dream. What remains of our dreams? Of us? Broken. Fragments scattered in the sand. I left so many memories there. It all comes back in my dreams. In dreams it sometimes feels different. Complete. Beautiful as it once was, like my childhood. Everything seems large. All through the eyes of a child. I remember that I returned. It was a beautiful day. The sun smiled down on me. The sea. It was so good to me. It drew me in. It wrapped me. I cried. Materials and techniques: clay, sand, cobalt, copper, manganese, iron, longings, tears. Wheel-thrown, hand-built and sculpted
