On the threshold of the unknown

״Far over the misty mountains cold To dungeons deep and caverns cold We must away ere break of day To seek the pale enchanted gold״ Tolkien, The Hobbit From an early age I always sought after treasures, attracted by the magic of dreams and fairy tales, wandering through the realms of imagination. The process of my work is a constant leaping between different situations; logic urges me to remain on solid ground, imagination draws me to realms afar, to darkness, to the forest, beyond the mountains – there will I find the treasure, twinkling and flashing from the depths of the sea, in a sky strewn with stars. Materials and Technique: luster glazed stoneware, Potter's wheel, Gas firing. Dimensions: 10-100 cm.
