Mind altering physical rhythmic experiences Movement motivates mind motivates movement motivates mind The soft space holds objects that invite users to move, swing, rock, and walk on them in a repetitive motion. The direct encounter with the body reveals emphases in the objects’ structure that generate rhythms during the movement. The rhythms are felt through touch, in silence. While raising the physical awareness needed to sense the rhythms through movement, the nature of each rhythm in the various objects becomes a means of influencing the mind and inspire relaxation, alertness, or focus, and with that has potential to serve as a practical tool.
